B2 Bank Online Banking Security Statement

At B2 Bank, we prioritize your security and are committed to providing a safe online banking experience. Our robust security framework protects your data and our institution from external threats. Below is an overview of our security measures, incorporating the latest technology, and your responsibilities as a user.

Security Framework

Our security framework operates on three levels: User Level, Server Level, and Host Level.

User Level

User Level security ensures the confidentiality of information transmitted over the internet. We require the use of a fully SSL-compliant browser with 128-bit encryption, such as the latest versions of Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge. SSL establishes a secure channel between your browser and our server, using advanced cryptography to ensure data authenticity and integrity. A digitally signed certificate confirms you are communicating with our Online Banking Server.

To access our services, you must provide a valid User ID and Security Code. This information is encrypted and logged, forming a physical security layer. We recommend changing your Security Code regularly and following our specified parameters. Additional measures, such as session time-outs and limited logon attempts, further enhance security.

Server Level

All transactions must pass through our filtering router system, which directs requests to the appropriate server and verifies the source and destination of each network packet. This system blocks non-secured activity and unauthorized access.

Our Banking Server is protected by a state-of-the-art firewall platform, which defends against intrusions and isolates approved customer requests. The system is monitored 24/7 for any anomalies that may indicate security breaches.

Host Level

Once authenticated, you can process authorized transactions using host data. Communication time-outs ensure timely processing, and any external attempts to interfere will fail. Additional password encryption and security logging protect host information.

User Responsibilities

While we continuously enhance our security technology, you also play a crucial role in safeguarding your information. Follow these recommendations:

  •  Use the latest 128-bit encryption version of a certified browser.

  • Keep your Security Code confidential and change it frequently.

  • Ensure no one is watching when you enter your information.

  • Never leave your computer unattended while logged in.

  • Click "Exit" to end your session properly and close your browser afterward.

  • Keep your computer free of viruses with up-to-date antivirus software.

  • Report any suspicious activity to law enforcement immediately.

By adhering to these guidelines, you can ensure a secure and confidential online banking experience. We are dedicated to serving your online banking needs securely, now and in the future.
